Our multifocal lenses are special artificial lenses that are able to restore your natural vision almost completely. This makes it possible to focus on images up close and far away as well as in the intermediate range following a cataract operation or surgery for presbyopia – without needing glasses!

For our cataract operations we use a special lens that filters both ultraviolet and blue light. Both ultraviolet and blue light can cause serious damage to the retina. Our special lens provides your eyes with effective and reliable protection without affecting your color vision.

The device most commonly used for eye examinations is a slit lamp. ocurana's excellent equipment makes it possible for us to take photographs and make video recordings of your eyes. This forms an ideal basis for patient consultations. Additionally, it also enables us to track diagnostic findings and changes in your eyes over time.

We can also document surgery by recording a video of the operation.

Prevention has become a permanent feature of health care. Our eyes also benefit from regular check-ups. We recommend having an annual check-up from the age of 40, at the latest, to save yourself from nasty surprises in the future.
